Purple Gingerbread Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 70g wholegrain rye flour
  • 50ml water
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • ½ banana
  • 70g raw beetroot
  • Cinnamon
  • Powdered cloves
  • Vanilla
  • Cacao powder (optional)
  • Sweetener of choice (like maple syrup)

PREPARATION

  • Blend the banana, the beetroot, the water and the sweetener until smooth
  • Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the blended mixture
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C
  • Layer a baking save dish with parchment paper and fill in the dough
  • Bake for about 30 minutes and let it cool down a bit before eating
